Moving Communities, a social-artistic initiative by the Yasmeen Godder Company, was founded in 2015 and brings together people of different ages and diverse physical conditions who come together to dance, move, and create. Around two weekly contemporary dance classes and ongoing creative processes, a lively and vibrant community is formed, consisting of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, alongside volunteers and active artists from the field of dance. This unique, intergenerational community operates with the understanding that everyone present in the room is an expert in their own condition. In honor of a decade of activity, and within the framework of the EVERYBODY Conference, “Moving Communities” celebrates the shared journey, the questions, the tools, and the inspiration that continue to move us forward. The event is held in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in Tel Aviv–Jaffa

“Art in the First Person” | Exposure Day for Disability Art – A Multidisciplinary Perspective Disability Art is not “art about disability” – it is a language born from the body, from a reality of movement, sound, and perception shaped by diverse bodies. The Exposure Day, which will take place at Na Laga’at Theatre in collaboration with Kelim Choreography Center, invites participants to engage with the art and the artists who are redefining the boundaries of stage and field. It is an encounter with creations, reflections, and processes that expand our understanding of seeing, hearing, the body, and the very perception of art. The day is intended for artists, artistic directors, curators, teachers, students, and cultural practitioners who wish to be exposed to an emerging and innovative artistic language and to collectively explore new modes of action within the contemporary art scene.
